Solid Alder Body

This alder body is perfect for a variety of playing styles as its excellent sustain and resonance ensures each note is heard. Maple Neck, Ebony Fingerboard

The Original Horizon-III is equipped with a 3pc maple neck and ebony fingerboard, delivering warm, bright tones with plenty of depth and dynamics. The maple provides the overall tone with a rounded quality, creating bright characteristics and an excellent amount of sustain. Its thin U-shaped profile is perfect for speed demons, allowing players to easily reach across the entire fingerboard without losing any comfort. The addition of an ebony fingerboard helps to tighten up the neck’s tone, giving it a defined feel, excellent clarity, and a fast attack. The maple and ebony combination creates a sparkling, sizzling high end, a muscular controlled bass response, and a snappy midrange with extra presence in the lower mids.

Seymour Duncan Jazz & Custom 5 Pickups

The ESP Horizon-III is equipped with a Seymour Duncan Jazz neck humbucker and Custom 5 bridge humbucker, delivering loud, bright tones which remain clear even under extreme distortion. The Jazz neck pickup offers a bright, versatile tone suitable for almost any musical style, with its vintage output, alnico V bar magnet, and special coil wind creating a glassy treble response, a full, tight low-end, and a scooped midrange to allow each note to sing clearly. The custom 5 humbucker offers a high output tone with an even bass and treble response, making it perfect for a wide range of musical styles. As a brighter version of the popular Custom Custom humbucker, the Custom 5 delivers incredibly bright tones with a nice, full quality and a balanced response.

Floyd Rose Original Tremolo

For many years Floyd Rose has been the leading manufacturer and designer of floating, locking tremolos. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose Original locking tremolo allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch with the removable whammy bar to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. Unlike non-locking tremolo's, the Floyd Rose bridge can make huge changes in pitch but still retain the initial tuning by addition of the locking nut at the end of the headstock.

Gotoh Locking Tuners

The Original Series ESP is finished off with a range of high-end components to ensure players receive the best playing experience possible. The Gotoh locking tuners improve tuning stability while reducing string slippage, delivering a truly quick and easy way to tune.
