The Ortega RGL5E features a comfortable 435 mm scale length with a compact body, providing easy playability no matter what musical ability the player has. In addition, this stylish little guitarlele is also ideal for the guitar or uke player wanting to transition to either ukulele or guitar as its compact size, distinct ukulele-like sound and 6-strings is ideal for experimenting with. The RGL5E is also perfect for down-sizing from a full sized guitar, or up-sizing from a soprano ukulele to a more guitar-inspired instrument, perfect for exploring musical possibilities. Furthermore, guitarlele body delivers a delicate and lively tone with great balance and definition, perfect for complex picking techniques and strumming patterns, as well as being ideal for a wide variety of genres.
Spruce & Mahogany Body
The Ortega RGL5E features a classic pairing of tonewoods to provide the player with a versatile response to a wide variety of playing styles. In addition, the spruce top has a broad dynamic range with a clear, and powerful tonal output. Its spruce top is attached to mahogany back and sides which add warmth, resonance and emphasis to the bass and treble notes. Furthermore, its mahogany body also delivers mid-range emphasis with a punchy, woody character and depth that is certain to accommodate both picking strumming techniques equally well.
Solid Mahogany Neck & Walnut Fingerboard
Constructed from mahogany, the RGL5E's neck provides a quick and dynamic response while adding extra warmth and resonance to the guitarlele's overall sound.
