The Alan Ashby LTD Signature Guitar is loaded with a single yet powerful EMG 81 Pickup. The 81 produces an incredibly intense tone with high output, ideal for loud and aggressive rock/metal styles. The 81's sound has excellent detail, and good high end cut. The ESP LTD AA600 Electric Guitar also features a TonePros Locking Tune-O-Matic Bridge with string-thru body for added sustain, and LTD Locking tuners to keep your tune locked all night.
The ESP LTD AA600 Alan Ashby Signature Electric Guitar's body is crafted from mahogany, which enhances the sound with richness and resonance, as well as a tone with good bite and sustain. Mahogany is a durable tonewood and works well with heavy music. The mahogany body is finished in black satin for a dark, metal look.
The 3-piece neck is more resistant to warping than classic 1 piece necks. Maple offers a bright and clear tone with sweet sustain and an overall snappy sound. The maple neck is coupled with an ebony fingerboard, which brings responsive, snappy attack with incredible definition and precision.
Alan Ashby is the rhythm guitarist of metalcore band Of Mice and Men, and has released 2 critically acclaimed albums as part of the group. Ashby has been a part of the ESP family since he joined the band in 2011, and his AA-600 guitar focuses on simplicity so you can concentrate on playing.
