The Fender American Original '50s Stratocaster comes equipped with 3 pure vintage '59 single coil pickups to deliver a classic Stratocaster ground-breaking tone. These incredible pickups are built to be as period-correct as possible with era-correct cloth wire and a fiber bobbin construction, which enables players to achieve an authentic, sonically pleasing sound that the '50s Strats were known for. The Formvar-coated magnet wire improves overall brightness, the Alnico 5 add more focus and enhances dynamics, whilst the staggered pole pieces balance volume and the output across each string.
With an iconic Stratocaster body, players can appreciate and benefit from the two asymmetrical cutaways, which not only provide a pleasing aesthetic appeal, but promote the access to upper fingerboard shredding. Furthermore, its body is slim, sleek, and contoured to ensure long practice sessions and live performances are as comfortable as possible. Furthermore, the American Original features an ash body, which delivers bright, crisp and articulate tones with form lows, snappy highs, good resonance, and plenty of twang. Its ash body also offers players a lightweight and comfortable playing experience. As well as all this, the Fender American Original '50s Stratocaster has a lacquer finish which not only enables the wood breathe naturally, but will age in a distinctively appealing manner. The American Original Strat also features a non-locking tremolo bridge which enables players to add something a little extra to their sound. .
The American Original's neck is constructed from maple, which adds a bright attack with great sustain to the overall sound. The Fender American Original '50s Stratocaster features a thick soft V neck profile which provides guitarists with a smooth and comfortable playing experience. Its soft V neck is perfect for chording, and its 9.5'' fingerboard radius enhances playability. The Strat's smooth playing neck is topped with a maple fingerboard which adds more sustain and plenty of bite to the guitar's overall sound. In addition, the maple fingerboard also enhances the guitar's sound and adds a tremendous amount of higher overtones with a bright attack.
When many people think of an electric guitar, this is the one that leaps to mind. The Stratocaster is one of the world's most popular guitars and is an elegantly versatile creation. Not long after Fender revolutionised music with the Telecaster and the Precision Bass, in 1954 they debuted the Stratocaster and it quickly became universally regarded as the archetypal electric guitar. Sleek and stylish aesthetics, smooth playing and tonally versatile, at the heart the Stratocaster remains a fantastic instrument - producing unmistakable sound with a timeless design. A first choice among players worldwide, there is simply nothing that sings, screams, whispers, moans, roars, rocks and rolls like a Fender Stratocaster.
