Perfectly designed for euphonium players needing a large sound, the Steven Mead Ultra X series provides more brilliance than the standard Ultra Series or classic Steven Mead Series. The cup has a more defined bowl shape which adds more brilliance to the tone and also provides a better upper register response. The rim is slightly sharper compared to previous models and increases articulation response and accuracy.
