Taking care of your instrument has never been easier. ABS Resin is an incredibly durable synthetic material to make up the body of your piccolo. This means you get exceptional body strength. This strength also comes from the construction, as Yamaha's mechanisms and assembly are known for being first class. Other features like the double bladder pads have a longer life too and will require servicing less.

Your piccolo will look in top condition as well as sounding it. The nickel silver in the headjoint and keywork can be shined effectively with a cloth alone. This wear-resistant construction means this piccolo is ideal for marching and will sparkle while you're doing it.

Yamaha have also added a split E mechanism to the YPC32. These allow the high E to be properly accessed, creating a clearer sound from what can often be an inconsistent note. This mechanism has become a common addition to professional level piccolos, meaning you can learn by making the best sound.
