The Squier By Fender Bullet Stratocaster HSS HT in Arctic White is crafted to provide a comfortable playing experience over long practice sessions and live performances. Its iconic double cutaway design has several contours including a 'tummy cut' and a right arm 'drop top' that make the Stratocaster very comfortable to hold. The double cutaway design lets you reach all of the 21 frets with ease, meaning you'll have no problem playing high-fret solos.
The neck has a comfortable round profile to sit comfortably in the left hand. The 21 medium frets are mounted to a smooth fingerboard with a modern 9.5'' radius - this has a subtle curve making barre chords comfortable and allowing you to play solos with ease.
The Bullet Stratocaster has a fixed bridge, meaning it has no moving tremolo or whammy bar. This gives you increased tuning stability and sustain, and also means that you can get on with the job of playing guitar without having to worry about maintaining a tremolo unit. The fixed bridge and 6 in-line machine heads make string changes very manageable; ideal for new players who don't want the added complication of balancing a tremolo block when changing strings.
The Bullet Stratocaster has a humbucker in the bridge position and two single coils to provide a contrast in output levels, accessed via the 5-way pickup selector. The humbucker has two coils that deliver increased power and are ideal for more high-gain styles of music like rock and metal.
The 5-way switch gives you access to 5 individual tones that will immediately remind you of countless recordings you've heard over the decades. The Stratocaster is known for its great versatility and can play in any genre including clean pop, funk, country, blues, rock, metal, and much more.
The bridge pickup can sound twangy and biting, or you can roll down the tone control to mellow its response. The neck pickup can sound warm and mellow or fuzzy and saturated when driving an overdriven amp. The 3 other pickup selections all have their own distinct tonal signature, including the 'in-between' sounds reminiscent of Mark Knopler's classic guitar sound.
