The Dean V Dave Mustaine Electric Guitar is loaded with a custom 59 neck humbucker and a screaming Dave Mustaine 'Thrash Factor' Seymour Duncan bridge pickup, for the ultimate metal show. The 59 Model neck humbucker is one of Seymour Duncan's most popular pickups due to its immense versatility. The Thrash Factor pickup was designed especially for Mustaine, by re-wiring one of his favourite pickups.
This addition to Dave Mustaine's 2017 lineup is complete with an eye-catching custom Max Wheel graphic, that will stand out on any stage. Its V-shaped mahogany body provides a lightweight guitar that can be wielded all night long. This iconic body shape is ideal for soloists who require full access to the entire fingerboard. The overall design of the guitar depicts a Mustaine-inspired, killer appearance.
With a set-in mahogany neck sculpted to Dave Mustaine's unique specification, the VMNT Maxwheel maintains the resonance and durability of thicker D shaped necks, but with a slightly thinner profile that offers smoother playability and easy access to the higher frets. Complete with a 25.5" scale jatoba fingerboard and custom Dave Mustaine pearl dot and sharktooth combo inlays, Mustaine himself raves that this may be his favourite neck ever.
Born in 1961, Dave Mustaine is an American guitarist who was the original lead guitarist for heavy metal titans Metallica. After leaving Metallica, Dave Mustaine formed the band Megadeth and has since released 14 studio albums with hit songs such as "Symphony of Destruction", "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "Trust". In 2006 Dave received an endorsement from Dean Guitars and has since released a series of signature models with custom specifications and unique finishes. Mustaine is considered to be one of the most influential heavy metal guitarists of all time.
