The Ibanez SR1200L has a smooth and fast neck with premium fret edge treatment. This makes the edges specially rounded for smooth play and comfortable neck grip. This bass also has a striking appearance. The Ovankol top lamination gives it a premium feel and a strong presence on stage.

The Nordstrand™ "Big Single" pickups crams a meaty single coil into a soapbar style pickup giving you a full bodied, powerful and aggressive tone. Because the pickup is single coil you still maintain that clarity of sound though. The EQBIIISC is a customised 3 band EQ and a dedicated preamp for Nordstrand™ pickups for further pure and wider frequency response. This preamp system is equipped with an EQ bypass switch and a mid frequency select switch (250Hz or 600Hz).
