This unique Godin A11 Guitar is equipped with Custom Godin electronics, that enhance the guitar's overall volume and projection. The electronics include a Custom Under-Saddle Transducer and Custom Preamp, offering volume control and 3-band EQ. Sculpting the perfect tone is easy with the Preamp that features mid, treble, and bass slide controls to personalise your tone.
With a chambered body crafted from silver leaf maple, the Godin A11 delivers a beautifully resonant and full-rounded tone. The A11's maple body produces bright attack, great projection blended with excellent note definition. The maple is topped with solid cedar, which enhances the tone with plenty of rich warmth and clarity that reacts like an acoustic guitar.
The Godin A11 Guitar features a maple neck, which adds brightness and twang to the guitar's overall tone, whilst the richlite fingerboard offers smooth and fluid playability. Richlite is a sustainable material that was originally designed as an alternative to ebony and rosewood fingerboards. Constructed from recycled paper and phenolic resin, richlite has quickly become popular with many guitar manufacturers as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fingerboard woods.
Godin Electric Acoustic Guitars are a perfect combination of acoustic sound with the feel of electric. The chambered body provides a lightweight and comfortable performance, as well as eliminating undesirable feedback and increasing resonance. With a slim, tapered neck, this makes it the perfect choice for players making the transition from acoustic to electric or vice versa.
Godin Guitars are a Canadian company founded by Robert Godin out of La Patrie in Quebec. Godin manufacture out of six factories in Canada and the US, and then ship around the world. They are known to provide guitars under a range of different brands, yet they have since carved a name for themselves with their own range of electric, bass and acoustic guitars.
