The Hofner Verythin features a slim-profile body, giving you access to the classic tones of a hollow body instrument without the un-manageable proportions. This is the ideal instrument for younger players, students, or musicians who love the feel of a slim solid-body guitar but want to experience the airy and resonant tones of a hollow-body.
The Verythin is crafted with a spruce-topped maple body for a bright and resonant sound, enhanced by the twin chambers which are revealed by stylish f-holes. A maple centre block helps with feedback resistance and provides some of the familiar sustain that solid body guitars possess. The 1-piece maple neck with rosewood fingerboard gives a smooth playing-feel, as well as enhancing the guitar's resonance. A dual cutaway design assists with top-fret access so you'll be able to play high-range solos with ease.
The Verythin is equipped with two humbuckers, each with their own volume and tone controls. A 3-way switch is included and gives access to an array of classic tones, from bridge-position bite to neck-position warmth. This is a classic combination of pickups that is ideal for multiple genres, including blues, jazz, rock, indie, and more. Vintage-style tuners and a bridge/tailpiece combination give the Verythin a stylish aesthetic along with tuning stability and adjustable action/intonation.
