The Music Man Majesty is the pinnacle of the collaboration between Music Man and progressive metal player, John Petrucci. Featuring a revolutionary design and forward-looking specifications, the Majesty is the ultimate modern rock/metal guitar. The Sterling Majesty is a stripped-back version of the Music Man Majesty, crafted in Indonesia to give players more affordable access to this wonderful instrument. Featuring a quality range of hardware and the same body contours, the Sterling Majesty is a professional instrument in its own right and would be a welcome addition to any contemporary player's collection.

Futuristic Body Design

The Majesty body is inspired by race car design and the sleek contours provide exceptional balance and comfort, whether playing stood up or sat down. The modern satin finish hides a traditional mahogany body, giving a warm and hugely resonant sound with great sustain, enhanced by the set-neck design.

Fast-Playing Mahogany Neck

The Majesty's 3-piece mahogany neck is mounted to the body with a set-neck construction. The neck heel features an incredibly smooth contour alongside deep body horns for unparalleled access to the 24th fret - you'll find it no more difficult playing at the top of the neck as the bottom. The flat 16'' radius fingerboard gives excellent string balance when crossing strings, while the slim neck with satin finish sits comfortably in the left hand. This is the ideal instrument for traversing the fingerboard and playing the most technically challenging styles of music with unhindered playability.

Versatile Pickups and Electronics

Dual humbucking pickups provide a wide range of tones with a particularly strong focus on modern rock and metal performance. The 3-way switch lets you select biting bridge-position sounds for complex chords and articulate riffs; warm neck-position sounds for liquid-smooth leads and chordal playing; and combined-coil tones for bright-sounding clean parts. An additional 12dB boost, accessed via the volume control, gives you a handy jump in volume for solo sections with increased saturation and sustain.

Stable Hardware

The set-neck construction and 3-piece mahogany neck is an inherently stable design with great resonance and sustain. The tonewoods are complemented by locking tuners and a modern 2-point tremolo, giving you access to smooth pitch-shifting whammy bar effects, safe in the knowledge that your strings will remain in-tune during long playing sessions. This combination of quality construction and hardware produces the tuning stability and reliability required for studio use and live performance.
