37-Key Analog Polysynth

The Behringer Deepmind 6 incorporates all the major features from the original Deepmind 12 synthesizer, retaining its powerful synthesis and FX engines. The keybed has been shortened down, with its compact design including 6-voices in total, ideal for live synth players as well as studio applications. The 37-note keybed features velocity-sensitive keys with aftertouch, for fluid playbility and expression. The Deepmind 6 Polysynth also features a detune fader, noise generator, as well as an extensive 8-bus modulation matrix for in-depth control over your sounds.

In-Depth Modulation

The top panel of the Deepmind 6 features a wide variety of parameters and controls you can use to get the most out of your synthesizer. The integrated 32-step control sequencer has been incorporated from the original Deepmind 12, giving you adjustable slew rates and MIDI synth, allowing you to create complex patterns and rhythms on the fly. The 8-channel modulation matrix is the beating heart of the Deepmind 6, giving you in-depth control over every aspect of your sounds. The modulation matrix features 19 modulation sources with more than 130 destinations for optimal flexibility. The modulation sources can be mapped across more than 30 destinations, opening up a world of options when it comes to controlling your effects.

World-Class FX Engines

Four simultaneous FX engines are also retained, with over 33 world-class TC Electronic, Midas and Klark Teknik algorithms, giving you more than enough effects to change the shape and style of your sound. The effects range from Reverb, Delay, Chorus to Multiband Distortion, Phaser and more. The wide variety of effects are custom-designed and physically modelled after some of the most renowned FX processors in the world. The low-latency performance and flexible routing only serves to boost its performance and your control over your sounds.

Design & Connectivity

The compact yet sleek design of the Deepmind 6 makes it ideal as a live performance synthesizer, as well as a studio synth. The wide range of analog and digital connectivity makes it perfect for a range of applications. Full servo-balanced stereo TRS outputs give you the ability to feed audio to mixing consoles, amplifiers and other external equipment. A headphone input is also included for private listening and practicing. Also included on the rear panel is Sustain, Pedal/CV, MIDI (IN, Out, Thru) for expression pedals, sustain pedal and connecting to external MIDI-enabled devices. A MIDI/USB connection is also incorporated so you can use the Deepmind 6 Synthesizer in conjunction with your favourite digital audio workstation. You can also use the USB connection to update the firmware as and when you need to. The MIDI I/O also includes NRPN/CC controls of all parameters, allowing you to map your functions with ease.
