Brass shells are hugely popular for their sound, response and aesthetics. They offer an incredibly versatile sound with a look that fits perfectly with any drum kit. Brass shells offer a much darker tone than other metals and has a focused low-end attack. The highs, mids and lows all sound very open to provide a musically warm and vibrant tone.
MAG throw-off
The Performance Series now comes with the all-new MAG™ throw-off in a chrome finish. A simple design, the MAG™ is a workhorse drop throw-off with easy to adjust horizontal tension. Its name comes from a magnet that's built into the body of the throw-off. When the handle is lifted into the upright position it cannot be released. When it finally releases it will throw the strainer completely off the head to avoid any strainer buzz.
