Alongside its stunning looks, the Brian May Bass comes equipped with passive electronics, and features a humbucker in the neck position, and tri-sonic style single coil at the bridge. Both pickups offer a classic tone with a low bottom-end, with clarity and punch, everything you look for in a bass. Also featured is a high-mass roller bridge, which enhances your overall tone and sustain, and offers better articulation. In addition, a trio of aluminium top hat control knobs are also a main feature, providing you with a vintage look as well as offering controls from volume and tone. Sculpted for perfection
The Brian May Bass Guitar features a 31.5" scale length and is perfect for players who will appreciate the comfort of a shorter-scale instrument. This is beneficial to players with smaller hands and shorter fingers and would be an ideal choice for children.
The zero fret is an extra fret located directly in front of the nut, which serves solely to keep the strings spaced properly. The strings rest on top of the zero fret, which can be higher than the other frets.
