Thanks to its all-inclusive manner, you won't need to worry about the hassle and expense of sourcing every component, it's all in one box. Designed to make your life easier, the majority of components included are part of the Guitarworks range and have been developed by our team of specialists to ensure our high standards of quality are maintained.

Easy and safe

Safe to build, all of our DIY guitar kits include solderless wiring. This eliminates the need for a soldering iron as all wires can be clipped into place. Whether you want to swap out tone and volume controls, insert new pickups or change the bridge. They'll be nothing stopping you from adding future upgrades to virtually any aspect of the DIY Kit Guitar for a playing experience totally unique to you.

Built to last

All of the wood included has been handpicked to avoid complications such as knots and imperfections. This ensures each guitar body has been constructed from planks of wood with similar grain and colour, so your finish, should you choose to add one will look consistent and give you confidence that your instrument will last a lifetime.

The temperature and humidity treated body and neck wood comes completely shaped and fine sanded smooth, but not lacquered. This is by design, so you can unleash your artistic flair with any style you see fit. Exceptional tonewoods

The Guitarworks Super-Cutaway DIY Electric Guitar Kit includes a basswood body. Basswood offers great volume and weight, making it perfect for both rhythm and lead playing styles in any genre.

Thanks to its maple neck, the Super-Cutaway is built to last, offering a smooth playing experience so you can progress up and down the fretboard with ease. This can easily be attached to the body via its bolt-on design. The neck also comes with an unfinished headstock, so you can mark up and cut it to any design you would like, be it something completely original, or a tribute to an iconic instrument.

Articulate tones

The DIY kit features two open coil humbuckers and a single coil pickup. Incredible for Rock and Metal genres, open coil pickups deliver a defined sound that's slightly brighter than covered pickups. The inclusion of humbuckers and a single coil grant you the best of both worlds, allowing you to seamlessly alternate between rich, warm rhythms and piercing leads.

Take advantage of the floating tremolo system for maximum expression when performing, which allows you to bend your notes in both directions. You can achieve extreme effects such as dive bombs and squeals, as well as more subtle flutters, and gargles without fear of losing tuning stability. All thanks to the locking nut, which ensures that no matter how extreme your performance may be, you'll remain perfectly in tune.
