The DVC Fun is a perfect starter DMX interface, built to grow with you as your lighting setup and know-how does. At an accessible price point, with 128 DMX channels by default, the DVC Fun packs plenty of power into a convenient package made of durable plastic. Standard 3-pin XLR output can transmit DMX signals to just about anything, or expanded by DMX splitter cables to route programs to multiple lights at once. With access to an intuitive and comprehensive lighting software suite included, you can access DVC 3 or Daslight 4 Express to get to grips with the fundamentals of lighting programming right from your computer at home, and then import these programs to the DVC Fun for instant use in real lighting situations immediately!
The DVC Fun's standalone mode allows you to take a step away from the computer and still access its powerful programming options. Expandable up to a full universe of 512 DMX Channels in both live and standalone mode, the DVC Fun will develop alongside you with 99 scenes in total for you to choose from. If you want to learn the ways of professional lighting, or have the basics down and want to expand to a starter DMX interface that won't get between you and powerful, expansive effects, the DVC Fun is ideal.

The Daslight DVC Fun contains a HE10 connector that, with an upgrade from DMXSoft.com, can be used t provide eight dry contact ports. Trigger scenes in both live and stand alone mode via the 8 dry contact ports. Bridge the ground pin with pins 1-8 of the HE10 connector to start scenes from a push button or relay. The 8 ports can be combined in binary for up to 255 triggers.
The DVC Fun comes with 64k flash memory, allowing for programmed shows to be run in stand alone without a computer. Stand alone mode is perfect for smaller shows where a computer is not needed, as a backup in case of computer failure, or for architectural installations. The scenes can be changed via + and - push buttons on the controller and the dry contact ports on the interface.
