DISC GForce impOSCar2 Overview
GForce ImpOSCar2 comes fully equipped with over 1000+ factory sounds created by both users of the original version and renowned artists and sound designers from around the globe. Sounds have been put together from the likes of, Darren Price and Rick Smith (Underworld) and Paul Wiffen (Sound designer for that hardware that inspired the impOSCar2). Meaning you have incredible quality and options from the second the download has concluded. However, if you prefer to craft your own sound then impOSCar2 will offer you both Additive and Subtractive synthesis, leaving you with plenty of options on how to get creative on this virtual instrument.
The impOSCar2 also boasts impressive PWM behavior, meaning both oscillators can be used independently with pulse width control over the PWM and rectangular waveform, this is a feature that is sure to add that bit of extra flair to your productions and will be certain to set your track out from the crowd. However, if this is not enough, impOSCar2 also offers an exceptional ring modulation mode within the mixer panel of the synth. Ring modulation is a quick way to bring out new textures in your sounds. These can range from subtle tones to abstract drones placed across a spacious mix.

If you're not already aware of the impOSCar then discovering this virtual instrument is going to be great fun. However, if you had the first version prepare to be blown away again. ImpOSCar2 is a vast improvement on an already excellent VST, offering new features such as the revamped Unison Section. Giving you a true OSCar sound by making the most out of various mono and poly unison odes allowing you to sculpt piercing unison leads or 8 voice poly stacks that can not be matched. This new unison mode will also help enhance the tonal qualities of your productions with its super agile tuning function. On top of this, the Unison spread parameter allows all available unison voices to disperse across the stereo field for insanely spacious chord progressions. Finally, within the unison section also lays the glide control. Giving you the ability to apply different glide times to each individual unison voice when using Portamento or Glissando.
Extensive LFO and Panning Controls
Within the AUX section of GForce's impOSCar2 extensive controls have now been embedded. These controls allow you complete freedom with modulation destinations. Some options include Osc Pitch, Pulse Width, Filter Resonance, and Noise Mix, and many more. Each of these can then be routed directly to one of the two inbuilt LFO's. Thus resulting in ever-changing tones and textures that would be near impossible to recreate with the extensive LFO controls. The impOSCar2 also offers you five individual panning options. These can be used to slot your patches into any space in your mix, ensuring your mix remains spacious and immersive, all at the push of a button. Finally, the impOSCar2 gives your the freedom to change the size of its user interface, making this ideal for use on anything from a larger monitor or laptop, without taking up too much of your precious screen real estate.
