Practical Interface

Featured on the upper clock section of the Intellijel uMidi is a 16th note clock output, that makes it ideal for synchronising other devices in your modular system such as a sequencer like the Intellijel Metropolis. The second clock output fitted with selectable divisions can be used for when difference sync events are needed. Conveniently you can sync your eurorack sequencer to work alongside any external sequencer or DAW you have connected with the use of the run and reset outputs making the Intellijel uMidi module a handy piece of gear.

The Intellijel uMidi provides all the options you need to control a single voice synth via MIDI. It's as easy as connecting a USB or DIN MIDI cable, learning a channel with the LEARN function and then you can start playing. Featured on the bottom section of the module are a number of CV outputs for the connected MIDI gear that allow you to route this module around your system.

Design & Layout

The compact design of the Intellijel uMidi only requires 6HP of rack space making it ideal for the space conscious modular user. Intellijel have kept the layout relatively simple for ease of use with no need for a menu on the interface, just two inputs for MIDI, 2 buttons to learn and set clock division of the MIDI clock, and outputs for CV. The uMidi contains everything you need to set up your MIDI and start playing.
