Accurate user-defined scales. Take control of melody and CV. The Intellijel Scales Dual Channel Quantizer and Sequencer offers total control over your Eurorack's melodic capabilities. Select and input scales to provide your synthesizer with stable and musically coherent notation across your melodies. It works simply by taking an input voltage, quantizing it to a scale defined by you and then outputting it to the rest of your system.



Not only can you control your synth's melodies - adding incredible sequencing abilities to your bass lines and leads. You can also use the quantizer to add depth to your CVs. Giving them continuous movement throughout the sequence. Turn LFOs into arpeggiators; random voltages into harmonic counterpoint, and unquantized external CV sequencers into chromatically tuned note sequencers - the possibilities are endless.



Scales also comes with a fully featured 128-step sequencer, allowing you to control the rhythmic dynamism of your patch. With storage for up to 35 patterns - Scales is a streamlined and highly capable compositional ally.

Find harmony

Modular synthesizers - whilst beautifully intricate and sonically unique - struggle to play with others. The fluidity of their voltage means that they often won't fit in with other instruments due to tuning. Enter Scales. The aptly named module from Intellijel makes it easier than ever to create musically sound compositions from your Eurorack

.

It has two channels and is sized at 8hp meaning that you get a lot of bang for a very small amount of rack space. By taking an input voltage and quantizing it to your own defined scale, it operates as a melodic pitch source for oscillators. Not only can it be used to create a sequence of musical notes, it can control LFO's and other voltage sources for deep and experimental results.

It can sequence too

Scales has a 128 step sequencer. With storage of up to 35 patterns. There are two outputs. OUT B sends out sequenced notes, while OUT A functions as a standard pitch quantizer for external voltages. You'll never be short of ideas or inspiration with Scale's excellent sequencer.
